We recommend using a pencil to trace along the state pieces for lines that can later be erased. Once erased, this ups the educational challenge.
Our approach with state name on the tray and capitals on the backs of pieces is most educational and supports “flash card” learning. Additionally, it leaves the puzzle front more attractive when on display in den or elsewhere.
